Application does not guarantee acceptance. Do not pay for the training until you receive an acceptance letter. The following processes and policies are a part of the NSYA application and registration process.
Once your application is received, you will receive outreach when it is processed. If you are new to us, we will reach out to you regarding a time to meet with an invitation to you to take class. It is important to be sure that you are aligned with the program before moving forward with registration, and meeting with the lead trainer and practicing with them is an important step. It is a policy of The New School of Yogic Arts that, barring extenuating circumstances, all applicants must meet with a faculty member face-to-face before enrolling.
Acceptances are based on level of commitment to practice and a matching alignment of values. Most often, applicants are self-selecting, and desire to enroll in our particular program is an indicator in the direction of acceptance.
Registration is not complete until payment is made. Until payment is made, spots are open to be filled by whomever completes the registration process.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Tuition refunds (less a $75 processing fee) will be given according to the following schedule: for cancellations two or more days prior to the start of the program, 75 percent of monies paid will be refunded. Less than two days prior to and up to completion of 25 percent of the program, 65 percent of the program cost will be refunded. Up to completion of 50 percent of the program, 50 percent of the program cost will be refunded. Up to completion of 75 percent of the program, 25 percent of the program cost will be refunded. No other refunds or credits are available. The standard cancellation policy applies to all other charges.
We never want finances to come between you and access to yoga. Payment plans are on a case-by-case basis. Most plans are based on a division of the full cost of training over a determined period of time that meets your needs. Most popular plans are 3 installments (a deposit at the time of acceptance, payment on the first day of training, and payment right before training ends) and a monthly plan of installments divided by the number of months before the training ends. For example, if you are accepted in July and pay per month until graduation in February, the plan is the cost of the program divided by 8.
